ALPI continues its initiative with Architect@Work, the leading European event for architects, designers and sector professionals on selected innovative products. The company will be on hand with its latest new developments and a selection of collections created in collaboration with international designers, demonstrating the boundless aesthetic and design potential of ALPI wood surfaces.
The collections include the wood creations presented at the FuoriSalone 2019 in Milan. On one hand, Martino Gamper has set out to invent a new type of wood that does not exist in nature, exploring beyond the usual boundaries of experimentation to generate “Gamperana Triplex”; on the other, Piero Lissoni has investigated the possible expressions of a natural wood like cherry, reinterpreting and emphasizing its character.
ALPI will also be showing a selection of collections that combine technology and creativity. From the multicolored dots of the reissue of the first wood produced by ALPI for Atelier Mendini in 1991, Pointillisme COL and B/N by Atelier Mendini with Alex Mocika, to the charm of clouds transformed into graphic signs in the Cloudy wood by GamFratesi, all the way to the famous ALPI Sottsass Red model by the designer Ettore Sottsass.
